I went here on a date and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I used to come here when it was Riccalton's and I really wish they would reopen the snug (the lower level bar). Aside from that, let's talk about the service. Service was good but not perfect. Our waiter forgot a side that my date had ordered. We had the bacon as an appetizer and my date also had the deviled eggs. Everything was yummy. I had the eggplant ravioli and my date had the short rib which was also very good. We also had two desserts, the crème brûlée and the chocolate mouse cake. Both desserts were delicious. I think the only thing that would improve the meal is more variety in the menu and as someone who doesn't eat seafood I struggled a bit with the menu. Sorry I have no pictures of the food, but trust me when I say they had nice presentations.
Food was delicious and so were the drinks. Cute place and they have bingo brunch!!! We did not try the bingo, but sounds fun. There is a parking lot right behind the location free on Sunday! Service was great!! The only draw back is the bathroom is yet to be desired. Very basic and kind of disheveled. The rest of the place is gorgeous.
I really do like this restaurant and do not understand the low ratings. I ate here again this Saturday evening and about a month ago. Both times everything was good. This past Saturday, I made reservations for 8:30 and the place was crowded. We, however, were seated quickly. I ordered the Foxy Burger with parm fries, which was huge and the person that I was with ordered the seared scallops and shrimp on a bed of saffron orzo, along with other flavors like fennel and lemon sauce. The food was very good. The time before this I had the seared bronzino, burrata salad and eggplant chips. Service has always been good. No complaints here. I like having them in the neighborhood and hope they don't change. For me, it's one of the better places to eat that I can just walk to. I'll be back.
Family friendly, personable service, great cocktails, and awesome food. Live music on Fridays at the bar great ambiance.
